Boutique Owner Battling Cancer Passes Away

JULIET, Tenn. - A boutique store owner in Mt. Juliet has passed away following her battle with cancer.Recently, we brought you the story of Heather Sullivan, the owner of Clementine's Women's Boutique on Lebanon Road. The store opened in October 2014, and Sullivan recently announced she was closing to focus on her health.Sullivan was fighting stage three cancer. Her death was confirmed in an obituary from Sellars Funeral Home. It stated she died at home at the age of 46 surrounded by her loved ones.The message also said, "Her last wish was to go to her "happy place," which was the beach ,and the family made the voyage in June of this year to celebrate her son's 5th birthday." Funeral services were held on July 31 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Myran Greer officiated. Interment followed in the Lynn Cemetery in Jackson County.She was born in Jackson County on Feb. 20, 1926. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly, enjoyed word search puzzles, spent time quilting and kept a beautiful flower garden.She was preceded in death by her parents, Titus Hammock and Louisa Greenwood; husband, Leonard Barlow; six brothers; and four sisters.She is survived by her daughters, Janice Roberson and husband, David of Cookeville and Joyce Ward and husband, Jack of Livingston; grandchildren, Shane Barlow, John Robert Ward and Joshua Roberson; great grandchildren, Cody Matthews, Tinsley Ward, Christian Ward, Ian Ward and Layke Ward; and special caregiver, Linda Greer.Delberta RobertsDelberta Roberts, 74, passed away on July 26 in Chattanooga. Funeral services were held on July 29 at Hatcher Hall Christian Church. Bro. Hillier Duke officiated. Interment followed in the Hatcher Hall Cemetery. Speck Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.She was born in Overton County on March 3, 1944. She enjoyed spending time with her family, socializing with friends at the dance, playing with her dog Angel, tending her garden and watching hummingbirds.She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Alice Hicks Norris; brother, Eugene Norris; and sister, Beatrice Smith.She is survived by her son, Eddie Roberts; son’s father, Ronald Roberts of Monroe; grandson, Brandon Roberts and wife, Hannah of Cookeville; great grandson, Lawson Roberts of Cookeville; brothers, Tom Norris and Danny Norris of Alpine and Ronnie Norris and wife, Sue of White Plains; and sister, Pam Clark and husband, Jay of Atlanta, Ga.Georgie B.
